Staybridge Suites Allentown Bethlehem Airport

We were in town for a concert and decided we wanted a home-like base. The hotel staff was nice and attentive, and the rooms were clean and in excellent condition. The location was close to shops and a variety of restaurants. Continental breakfast was served every morning and offered plenty of tasty choices! Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. My wife and I chose this hotel only because we were "flying" (actually a bus to Newark, NJ Airport with a Continental flight number. But that's another story) out of the Allentown-Bethlehem Airport on an extended trip and Staybridge Suites offered us 4 weeks of "Park, Sleep, Fly" free parking. The free parking worked out great for us. But over and above that we found the on-demand airport shuttle service to be very efficient, the front desk to be very helpful, the included breakfast to be perfectly adequate and the suite itself to be clean, spacious and comfortable. While we don't generally go out of our way to choose chain hotels, this was an excellent experience and I have nothing at all bad to say about it. Laborman1, Wynnewood, PA

TownePlace Suites Bethlehem Easton

This was a great place to stay for many reasons. The rooms were large. The kitchenette had a two-burner cooktop, microwave, sink, and apartment-size fridge/freezer. There was a large table with four chairs and two arm chairs in the corner of the room. Breakfast was typical with cereal, muffins, bread/bagels to toast, eggs, yogurt, and make-you-own waffles. Hot drinks were available in the lobby 24 hours and there was a bowl of apples and oranges as well. Cookies at the front desk each afternoon. longandshortofit, Kansas City, KA
I travel alot and thought this place was great. We stayed two nights with two kids.

The property was very clean, comfortable beds, small kitchen/fridge, big rooms, friendly staff, in a decent area with shopping nearby (Wegmans across the street, Sonic next door, Wawa next door, Indian food, etc.), right off the highway, great pool for the kids, 17 miles from Blue Mountain and only a 5-6 miles from Downtown Easton (pretty decent restaurants in Downtown Easton). I am more of Hilton fan but this Marriott property is fantastic and would come back again. avidtraveler1976, New York City, NY

Hilton Garden Inn Allentown-Bethlehem Airport

We stayed overnight here while passing through on our way to Philadelphia. The $89 guaranteed rate we paid still seems reasonable, although its apparent you can get for much cheaper on opaque travel sites. With a full house of other like-minded travellers on a very hot weekend, it was nice to arrive to our quiet room which was already cooled down to 70 degrees, almost meatlocker-like. This place knows what I like! bargain_hunting, Niagara, Canada
I stayed at this hotel after my original hotel booking at another location was cancelled due to poor hotel quality. I stopped into this location without having a reseravation and explained what had transpired at another establishment. The front desk staff was very pleasant and apologized for what I experienced at another hotel.

The staff allowed me to see the hotel rooms prior to booking to ensure the room was clean. The rooms were immaculate! The staff even provided me with free breakfast vouchers due to the inconvenience I experienced by having to change locations unexpectantly. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was nice as well.

I truly enjoyed my stay here and would choose this location again if ever in the area again. The hotel is located across from a shopping center with restaurants and stores so you do not have far to travel if you need anything. MissMD412, Baltimore, MD

Howard Johnson Inn & Suites - Dorney Park Area

The pool was picture perfect. The jacuzzi was a great relaxer after walking all day at Dorney park. Since we have 3 kids, I used the sleeper sofa which was much better than even the expensive hotels. We will be back with later this summer for a field trip with group. I would say the hotel is a good 4.5 out of 5.
The rooms were As good as a Marriott. The pool was better than a Marriott. The service was excellent. The price was best. Recommend to all. Great stay great price and very friendly Harish R - Indianapolis, Indiana
We were looking for a place to stay with a heated pool open this time of year, for only one night, for 4 A and 1 C. One place was $169. that was too much for us so we called Howard Johnson. The staff was friendly and the didn't have a cot available so they offered to up grade us to a suite for the same low price. With a senior discount the total came to only $84. This included a wonderful breakfast or a discount if we went near by to a different resturant. The entire place was very clean and even provided towels at the pool and spa!! We are thinking of visiting Dorney Park, we will definately stay with Howard Johnson. Mary G - Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Quality Inn & Suites Allentown, PA

I booked my 2-night stay from New York City, having never been to Allentown previously. The hotel itself was of a good standard, room had a nice bath and comfortable beds. I found the front of house staff helpful, they were willing to take care of my luggage while I spent the day at Dorney Park. I would stay here again. Palmerston North, New
I live on the road 10 1/2 to 11 months out of the year and have been doing so the past seventeen years. My life is based around hotels! In my travels I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years. When i first started stopping at this hotel it was a little run down, but things have been changing there and doing so rapidly. This has become a home away from home for me. The rates are extremely reasonable, the staff is friendly and outgoing, they have a nice little gym, internet access is fast and reliable, the rooms are always clean and if you don't have readily available transportation, they are more than happy to shuttle you anywhere. The best part of the hotel is that they treat you like family from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. In recent months I have gone an hour or so out of my way just to come back here (when time allows) just to be somewhere that i can be relaxed and feel at home. Good Job Guys. Knights Inn - Allentown, PA

I stayed at a couple Microtel Inn's and let me tell you... this place was great. The rooms are cozy with a window seat, they sell discounted tickets to Dorney Park, have a great breakfast (I dont know what the other person was talking about)... they have bagels, muffins, flavors of coffee, cereal and milk, fruit... etc. But the BEST part is the FREE LONG DISTANCE PHONE CALLS !!!!
It was great, I was on the phone the entire evening - didnt have to waste my minutes (it was a weekday) on my cell phone. The front desk staff is very polite and professional and the entire hotel looks like it was completely new. Overall, I was very pleased here. Silver Spring, Maryland
If you're reading this, I guess your planning a trip to the area. Perhaps I can save you some time in looking for a nice place to spend the night. I've been to most of the so called hotels in this area and most of them are ok. But not really. The Knights Inn is very nice, clean and quiet with plenty of privacy. All the staff seem to be very nice to there customers. The grounds around this hotel have plenty of nice grass, plants and trees. The price is right as well. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay at this hotel. No Name

Super 8 Motel - Allentown, PA

This hotel is just renovated. The bed was very comfortable. Overall Nice hotel experience. Don S - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
I travel quite a bit so I normally stay only at Super 8 Motels. This hotel was neat, clean, and comfortable. I liked the fact that it was close to Rte.22, had a good breakfast, and had all the ammenities I needed like a coffeemaker, microwave, frig, etc... in the room. The price was definately great considering all the other Super 8's I stay at. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for a nice, clean room with a good breakfast for a good price. Silver Spring, Maryland

This was our first time staying at this hotel. The room was very nice, the bed was very comfortable. It is located directly across the street from Dorney Park Amusement. It was conviently located not far from our event that we were attending. There is breakfast in the morning, with bagels, donuts, cereal, Orange, Apple, Cranberry Juice, Very Good Coffee, Toast, Eggs, Sausage, Belgian Waffles. I would recommend this hotel to anyone interested. They also have a restaurant and bar as well. Michelle M - Torrington, Connecticut

Fairfield Inn & Suites - Wilkes-Barre

I travel to Wiles-Barre every week and the Fairfield Inn & Suites was my first choice. Staff is VERY friendly, the property is quiet & clean. Beds are comfortable and internet is easy to use. Be sure to take advantage of the continental breakfast and other amenities. Very convenient location. MaryAnne D - Atlanta, Georgia
After driving for eight hours, I chose this Fairfield Inn to stay over in before continuing my journey to the Cape. It was exactly what I was looking for: friendly staff, impeccably clean room, hassle-free wireless access and a very comfortable bed. The climate controls were simple and responsive- no high tech thermostats to wrestle with here. The price was very reasonable. TGI Friday's right next door. All in all, I was definitely satisfied and would return again without hesitation. Paula Hall - Urbana Ohio

Host Inn All Suites - Wilkes Barre, PA

We stayed here for 2 nights in a King suite while visiting my in-laws. They offered a military discount and the nightly rate was VERY affordable. We were worried it was going to be a dumpy hotel but were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. The room was AMAZING. It came with a full kitchen, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher. There was also a couch that folded out into a bed, a desk, small dinning table, tv and chair in the living room/dinning area. The bedroom had a comfortable king size bed and the bathroom. There was only a shower, no bathtub. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was in a great location! My only complaint is that the room smelled like cigarette smoke... which tends to be the case when you stay with a pet. We will definitely be staying here in the future when we visit our family. Kira R - Oswego, New York
Spanking clean rooms (we have always gotten a king room). Rooms are huge compared to other chain hotels nearby and include full kitchen, bathroom, living/sitting area, and a king bedroom. Service is very friendly. Hotel located just up the road from Mohegan Sun and Woodlands, but is a little tucked away and can be hard to find for a first time guest. Rates are very reasonable. Our king room is $118/night on the weekends and jacuzzi rooms are available for an upcharge. The breakfast in the morning is top notch. My hubby was thrilled with the waffle maker (make your own!) and I enjoyed the jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches. In addition to that they have juice, coffee, oatmeal, cereal, English muffins, bagels, danishes, and other things. Puts other continental breakfasts to shame! Hotel is highly recommended! We will be back! No Name

Quality Inn & Suites - Wilkes-Barre, PA

If your in Wilkes Barre, then you need to look no further. The service my family and I experiance over our July 4th vacation at the Quality Inn was outstanding. Even though this is not a five star hotel, Angela at the Front desk and the management went above and beyond to make my family feel right at home. We were here during the July 4th holiday and were able to take in the beautiful courtyard with plush landscaping in which my kids had plenty of rooms to play football in, and utilize the grills to barbeque our holiday dinner. The rooms were nice and comforatable, and the complementary breakfast was GREAT!!! My faimly and I will be staying at this hotel the next time we are in Wilkes Barre. Ryan B - Macungie PA

Best Western - East Brunswick, NJ

If your looking for a hotel that still understands the meaning of great customer service... this is it. Newark, New Jersey
I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western East Brunswick Inn. I was impressed with checkin..fast friendly and efficient. The lobby was modern and the rooms also had a modern feel. Our room had a flat screen TV and nice clean bedding. The staff was more than accomodating when I needed extra coffee and towels. The breakfast had a huge selection--I was truly surprised! I will be back again. Also the free wifi was terrific! Josh J - Boston Massachusetts
